Tips Corona Exercise After Infection

Exercising During or After a Corona Infection? These Are the Guidelines

You have tested positive for corona, or you have symptoms. Are you allowed to exercise? And how do you start exercising again after a corona infection? Find the answer in this article.

Exercising after a positive corona test

Have you tested positive on your corona test (self-test or PCR test), but have no symptoms? Then you can still exercise, but preferably avoid heavy efforts. You can also still pass on the virus, so isolate yourself and exercise alone (outdoors too)!

Do you have symptoms? Then definitely do not exercise until your test is negative again!

Exercising with COVID symptoms?

Do you have possible COVID symptoms? Then definitely do not exercise until you are certain whether you are infected or not. This can be done through a self-test, or you can also request a PCR test.

Returning to exercise after a corona infection

If you only had mild symptoms, you can resume exercising after you have tested negative again and when all symptoms have disappeared. Start very gently at first, and increase the duration and intensity of your efforts by a maximum of 10% per week.
